Looking Back on all We Have to be Grateful for in 2016

2016 has been a year of financial and personal growth for Texas Fence. We grew as a company,  re-branded, received awards and recognition, had the pleasure of meeting the orphans we help on behalf of Coreluv, and got a lot of love and support from our customers. Before we sit down at the Thanksgiving table with our families to celebrate all that we’re thankful for, our Texas Fence family would like to look back and highlight some of the things we’re thankful for as a company from the year 2016.

Business Accolades

We are thankful for the support and recognition we’ve received from the business community. 2016 began with Texas Fence receiving the Angie’s List Super Service Award for our accomplishments over the previous year followed by receiving the Better Business Bureau Award of Excellence, two distinctions that reflect our dedication to service. We are also honored to have moved up 16 spots from last year on the Aggie 100 list, and we were recognized by Inc. Magazine as one of the top 5000 fastest growing companies in America. Our Amazing Staff

Texas Fence is lucky to have a staff that feels like a family. We make each other laugh when we’re feeling down, and support each other through success and failure. And if we’re really lucky, someone will bring in donuts. Our employees make us look forward to coming into the office every day.  We wouldn’t be where we are today without their tireless work ethic and determination. Every fence we build is a testament to the great work our staff provides. We count on each other from start to finish on every project.

Coreluv

Coreluv gets a two part thank you. First, we want to thank them for the incredible work they do to house, feed, and educate orphans in Haiti; their efforts are an enormous blessing to both the volunteers and the orphans they help. Orphans across the world need hope, and Coreluv teaches skills that transfer into adulthood. They provide a loving environment where their children do more than simply survive; they thrive, flourish, and have a better chance of living a fulfilling life.

We are also grateful we could visit Coreluv’s orphanage in Myan, Haiti twice this year to build fences. Our second trip gave us the exciting opportunity to catch up with children we met on our first trip and witness their growth in person. Although some of these children come from devastating stories, it’s apparent that the stability that Coreluv provides helps them feel loved and appreciated. The kids we helped with Coreluv are some of the happiest kids that we’ve had the pleasure of meeting. We already have plans to return to Haiti next spring and fall to catch up with the kids and help out again.

Thank you Coreluv for giving Texas Fence a platform to give back and have a positive impact on the lives of orphans.

And a big Thank You to all the orphans in Myan, Haiti whose determination and happiness inspires us to make the world a better place.

It’s an honor to build fences that will stay with your family for years to come.
